Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1222872 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  3. Remove the seat belt buckle. Refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle Replacement .
  4. Remove the recliner knob screw (2).
  5. Remove the recliner knob (1).

  6. Remove the recliner cover screws (2).
  7. Remove the recliner cover (1).

    8. Object Number: 1222891 Size: SH
  8. Remove the recliner bolts on the seat cushion (3).
  9. Remove the seat back bolt (2).
  10. Remove the seat cushion (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1222883 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat cushion with the seat back bolt and the recliner bolts.

    2. Object Number: 1222884 Size: SH
  2. Install the recliner cover and the recliner knob with the screws.
  3. Install the seat belt buckle. Refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle Replacement .
  4. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
