Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement 0.8L

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1220901 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the washer reservoir inlet bolt (2).
  3. Remove the washer reservoir inlet (1).

    4. Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Raise and suitable support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  5. Remove the front RH wheelhouse splash shield screws.
  6. Remove the front RH wheelhouse splash shield clips.
  7. Remove the front RH wheelhouse splash shield.

    8. Object Number: 1220905 Size: SH
  8. Drain the washer fluid.
  9. Disconnect the washer hose connector (1).
  10. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector (2).
  11. Remove the bolts (4).
  12. Remove the washer reservoir assembly (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1220906 Size: SH
  1. Install the washer reservoir assembly with the bolts.
  2. Connect the washer pump electrical connector.
  3. Connect the washer hose connector.
  4. Install the front RH wheelhouse splash shield with the screws and the clips.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the washer reservoir with the bolt.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.

Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the washer reservoir inlet bolt (2).
  3. Remove the washer reservoir inlet (1).

    4. Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1547173 Size: SH
  4. Raise and support the vehicle.
  5. Remove the front RH wheelhouse splash shield screws.
  6. Remove the front RH wheelhouse splash shield clips.
  7. Remove the front RH wheelhouse splash shield.

    8. Object Number: 1240365 Size: SH
  8. Drain the washer fluid.
  9. Disconnect the washer hose connector (1).
  10. Disconnect the washer pump electrical connector (2).
  11. Remove the bolts (3).
  12. Remove the washer reservoir assembly (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1240366 Size: SH
  1. Install the washer reservoir assembly with the bolts.
  2. Connect the washer pump electrical connector.
  3. Connect the washer hose connector.
  4. Install the front RH wheelhouse splash shield with the screws and the clips.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the washer reservoir with the bolt.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
