Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1225063 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor connector.
  3. Remove the CMP sensor retaining bolt.
  4. Remove the CMP sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1225065 Size: SH
  1. Install the CMP sensor and retaining bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the CMP sensor retaining bolt to 10-14 N·m (89-124 lb in).

  2. Connect the CMP sensor connector.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
