DT 47527 (DW 260-220) High Clutch Spring Compressor

1. Remove the snap ring, then remove each plate.



2. Using DT 47527  (1) and the press, depress the spring retainer and remove the snap ring. Then remove the return spring.

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses and Compressed Air Caution in the Preface section.





Important: Air must be blown gradually at low pressure so as not to tilt high clutch piston. If the piston is hard to remove by blowing air, pull it out using pliers.

3. Blow air into the oil inlet of the high clutch drum (2) to drive out the high clutch piston.
