Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1618204 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Slide the cable eyelet off the post on the mode door lever.
  3. Disconnect the cable retainer from the heater/air distributor case assembly.

    4. Object Number: 1618205 Size: SH
  4. Remove the control assembly. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement .
  5. Remove the mode cable.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1618205 Size: SH
  1. Install the mode cable.
  2. Install the control assembly. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1618204 Size: SH
  3. Install the mode cable eyelet to the post on the temperature door lever.
  4. Snap the cable retainer to the A/C module.

    5. Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  5. Connect the negative battery cable .
