Removal Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fuel Pressure Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1240859 Size: SH
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
  2. Disconnect the inlet/outlet fuel lines by pushing the line connector lock and pulling off the hose of the fuel filter tube.
  3. Remove the fuel filter from the fuel tank.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1240859 Size: SH
  1. Install the new fuel filter into the retaining clamp. Note the flow direction.
  2. Connect the inlet/outlet lines. Secure the lines with the connector lock.
  3. Perform a leak test of the fuel filter.
