  1. Replace the power steering belt if worn or damaged.
  2. Inspect the tension as the looseness of belt in pushing the portion marked as an arrow in the picture on the power of about 10 kg (22 lb).

    3. Specifications
    The New Power Steering Belt Looseness is 8.0-9.0 mm (0.3-0.35 in)

    Specifications
    The Old Power Steering Belt Looseness is 9.0-10.0 mm (0.35-0.39 in)

  3. If the looseness is not within the specified limits, loosen the power steering bolt and adjust the belt tension, if equipped with the air-conditioner.
