Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) System Warning in the Preface section.

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the electric exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1224998 Size: SH
  1. Connect the EGR valve connector.
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
