Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1220608 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the door seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  3. Remove the door lock assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement.
  4. Remove the door lock assembly screws (1).
  5. Remove the actuator from the door lock assembly (2).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1220610 Size: SH
  1. Install the door lock actuator to the door lock assembly with the screws and tighten to 8 N·m (71 in lb).
  2. Install the door lock assembly to the vehicle. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement.
  3. Install the door seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
