Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1220698 Size: SH
  1. Remove the door seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  2. Remove the door check link-to-body bolt (2).
  3. Remove the door check link-to-door bolts (3).
  4. Remove the door check link (1).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1220698 Size: SH
  1. Install the door check link (1) to the door and the body with the bolts (2, 3).
    2. • Tighten the door check link to body bolt to 35 N·m (26 ft lb).
    • Tighten the door check link to door bolt to 5 N·m (44 in lb).
  2. Remove the door seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
