Removal Procedure

Object Number: 1224784 Size: SH

Open the hood.
Remove the hood latch screws (3).
Disconnect the hood latch release cable (2).
Remove the hood latch (1).

Installation Procedure

Object Number: 1224784 Size: SH

Connect the hood latch release cable (2) to the latch (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Install the hood latch (1) with the screws (3) and tighten to 8.5 N·m (75 lb in).
Close the hood.
