Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1224784 Size: SH
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the hood latch screws (3).
  3. Disconnect the hood latch release cable (2).
  4. Remove the hood latch (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1224784 Size: SH
  1. Connect the hood latch release cable (2) to the latch (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the hood latch (1) with the screws (3) and tighten to 8.5 N·m (75 lb in).
  3. Close the hood.
