Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1619321 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  3. Remove the front wiring harness retaining clip from the impact bar.

    4. Object Number: 1619322 Size: SH
  4. Remove the impact bar bolts (1).
  5. Remove the impact bar (2).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1619322 Size: SH
  1. Install the impact bar (2) with the bolts (1) and tighten to 27 N·m (20 ft lb).

    2. Object Number: 1619321 Size: SH
  2. Install the front wiring harness retaining clip to the impact bar.
  3. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
