1. Disconnect the engine control module (ECM) connector.



2. Remove the ECM bolts and the ECM.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Note: If disconnecting the battery cable to the ECM, the idle air control (AC) valve reset procedure should be performed.

Install the ECM with the bolts and tighten to 6-8 N·m (53-71 lb in).
