Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1225011 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the engine control module (ECM) connector.

    2. Object Number: 1225003 Size: SH
  2. Remove the ECM bolts.
  3. Remove the ECM.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1225062 Size: SH

    Note: If disconnecting the battery cable to the ECM, the IAC valve reset procedure should be performed.

  1. Install the ECM with the bolts and tighten to 6-8 N·m (53-71 lb in).
  2. Connect the ECM connector.
