Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

    2. Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  3. Remove the front wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  4. Remove the front fender liner. Refer to Fender Liner Replacement.

  5. Remove the bolts (1) on both side of the fascia.

    6. Object Number: 1223312 Size: SH
  6. Remove the clips (1) under the fascia.

    7. Object Number: 1619040 Size: SH
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Remove the front bumper fascia bolts (1).
  9. Remove the clips (1).
  10. Remove the front bumper fascia (2).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the bumper fascia (2).
  2. Install the clips on the top of the fascia (1).

    3. Object Number: 1223316 Size: SH

    Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  3. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  4. Install the clips (1) under the fascia.

  5. Install the bolts (1) on both sides of the fascia.
  6. Install the front fender liner. Refer to Fender Liner Replacement.
  7. Install the front wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
