Rear Side Door Trim Panel Insert Replacement Deluxe

1. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
2. Remove the window regulator handle from the rear door. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement .
3. Remove the door pull screw (1).
4. Remove the door pull (2).
5. Disconnect the electrical connector.



6. Remove the trim panel screws (2).
7. Remove the trim panel clips (1).
8. Remove the trim panel (3).
9. Remove the inside channel weatherstrip. Refer to Inner Belt Sealing Strip Replacement .

1. Install the inside channel weatherstrip. Refer to Inner Belt Sealing Strip Replacement .
2. Install the trim panel with the screws and the clips.
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the door pull with the screw.
5. Install the window regulator handle. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement .
6. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .

Rear Side Door Trim Panel Insert Replacement Standard

Special Tools

J 21104-B (KM 475-B) Trim Remover

1. Remove the inside door handle screw (2).
2. Disconnect the inside door handle rod.
3. Pry off the inside door handle (1).



4. Remove the door pull screws.
5. Remove the door pull.



6. Using a cloth, pull out the window regulator handle clip (2).
7. Remove the window regulator handle (1) from the rear door.




Caution: To avoid paint damage, protect the area surrounding the part which you are removing or installing.

8. Pry off the trim panel using a J 21104-B  (1).

1. Install the trim panel.
2. Install the window regulator handle with the clip.
3. Install the inside door handle and the door pull with the screws.
