Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1223140 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the tailgate.
  3. Remove the seat back.
  4. Remove the rear seat parcel shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  5. Remove the rear speaker from the rear parcel shelf. Refer to Radio Rear Speaker Replacement.
  6. Remove the rear parcel side shelf screws (2).
  7. Remove the rear parcel side shelf (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1223384 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear parcel side shelf with the screw.
  2. Install the rear speaker to the rear parcel shelf. Refer to Radio Rear Speaker Replacement.
  3. Install the rear parcel shelf. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  4. Install the seat back.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
