Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 276599 Size: SH
  1. Remove the lower trim cover screws.
  2. Remove the lower trim cover.

    3. Object Number: 282349 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the lap air outlet duct from the lower trim cover.

    4. Object Number: 290870 Size: SH
  4. Lift the lap air outlet duct over the tab.
  5. Remove the lap air outlet duct from the air distributor duct.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 290870 Size: SH
  1. Install the lap air outlet duct over the air distributor duct.
  2. Snap the lap air outlet duct into place.

    3. Object Number: 282349 Size: SH
  3. Connect the lap air outlet duct to the lower trim cover.

    4. Object Number: 276599 Size: SH
  4. Install the lower trim cover.

    5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the lower trim cover screws.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.9 N·m (18 lb  in).
