Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 293510 Size: SH
  1. Remove the bolt retaining the shoulder/anchor to the guide adjuster.
  2. Remove the shoulder/anchor from the height adjuster.

    3. Object Number: 293513 Size: SH
  3. Remove the front door upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Pillar Molding Replacement in Interior Trim, 1999 C/K Service Manual.
  4. Remove the height adjuster retaining bolts from the pillar.
  5. Remove the height adjuster from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 293513 Size: SH
  1. Install the height adjuster to the vehicle.
  2. Install the height adjuster bolts to the pillar.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt height adjuster bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  3. Install the front door upper pillar garnish molding. Refer to Pillar Molding Replacement in Interior Trim, 1999 C/K Service Manual.
  4. Install the shoulder/anchor guide to the height adjuster.
  5. Install the shoulder/anchor bolt to the height adjuster.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat belt shoulder anchor bolt to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
