Notice: Make sure the headlamp switch is turned off before beginning
the repair procedure.
- Remove the bulb assembly from the headlamp capsule by reaching into
the engine compartment and twisting the bulb assembly to the left.
Notice: Avoid touching the bulb or letting it come in contact with anything
damp. Oil from your skin or moisture on the bulb can cause the
bulb to explode when it is turned on. If contact with the bulb occurs, clean
the bulb with alcohol or a suitable degreaser and wipe it dry.
- Remove the screws from the radiator support.
- Carefully pull the headlamp assembly forward.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the burned out bulb assembly.
Installation Procedure
- Install the new bulb assembly into the headlamp assembly and twist it
clockwise until the connector is facing down.
Notice: Make sure to replace a high beam bulb with a high beam and a low beam
bulb with a low beam.
- Connect the electrical connector to the bulb assembly.
- Install the headlamp assembly.
- Install the screws through the top of the radiator support.
- Use the screws in order to secure the headlamp assembly.
