  1. Disconnect the connector at the right front door lock motor.
  2. Connect a test lamp between CKT 694 (TAN) at the right front door lock motor, cavity B and ground.
  3. Push the UNLOCK button on the transmitter.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Disconnect the connector at the remote control door lock receiver.
  2. Connect a self powered test lamp between the remote control door lock receiver connector, cavity A and the right front door lock motor connector, cavity B.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Replace the right front door lock motor.

Is the symptom still present?

--

Go to Step 5

System OK

Locate and repair the open in CKT 694 (TAN) between the door lock relay and the right front door lock motor.

Is the symptom still present?

--

Go to Step 5

System OK

Connect a test lamp between the right front door lock motor connector, cavity A and cavity B+.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the right front door lock motor.

Is the symptom still present?

--

Go to Step 7

System OK

  1. Disconnect the connector at the door lock relay.
  2. Connect a self-powered test lamp between the door lock relay connector, cavity E and the right front door lock motor connector, cavity A.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 9

Replace the door lock relay.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Locate and repair the open in CKT 295 (GRY) between the door lock relay and the right front door lock motor.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK
