  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN or ACCY position.
  2. Connect a test lamp between terminal A and terminal B of the left power window motor connector.
  3. Press the window switch up and down.

Does the test lamp light in both positions?

  1. Inspect the left power window motor for a poor connection.
  2. If the connection is OK, replace the left power window motor.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Connect a test lamp at the left power window switch connector C2 between terminal J and terminal L.
  2. Press the left power window switch up and down.

Does the test lamp light in both positions?

--

Go to Step 4

  1. Connect a test lamp at the left power window switch connector between terminal G and terminal K.
  2. Press the left power window switch up and down.

Does the test lamp light in both positions?

--

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in CKT 666 (DK BLU) or CKT 667 (BRN) between the left power window switch and the left power window motor.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

  1. Inspect the left power window switch connector for a poor connection.
  2. If the connection is OK, replace the left power window switch.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

  1. Connect a test lamp at the right power window master switch connector between terminal E and terminal A.
  2. Press the right power window master switch up and down.

Does the test lamp light in both positions?

Go to Step 8

Repair the loose connections or opens in CKT 166 or CKT 167 between the right power window master switch and the left power window switch.

Is the repair complete?

System OK

Replace the right power window master switch.
