1. Disconnect the connector from the inoperative power door lock switch.
2. Connect a test lamp from CKT 640 (ORN), cavity B to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 2

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 640 (ORN) between the inoperative power door lock switch and splice S256.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Go to Step 3

Connect a fused jumper from inoperative power door lock switch connector terminal B to terminal H, then to terminal D.

Does the door lock and unlock?

--

Go to Step  4

Go to Step 5

Replace the faulty power door lock switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Go to Step 5

1. Inspect CKT 194 (WHT) and CKT 195 (LT BLU).
2. Repair CKT 194 (WHT) and CKT 195 (LT BLU).

Is the repair complete?

System OK
