  1. Disconnect the power lumbar motor connector C212 or C219.
  2. Connect a self-powered test lamp from cavity B of C212 or C219 to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between C212 or C219 and ground G202.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Go to Step 3

Connect a test lamp from connector C212, terminal A or connector C219, terminal D to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in CKT 640 (ORN) between C212 or C219 and the IP fuse block.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Go to Step 5

  1. Disconnect the power lumbar seat switch.
  2. Connect a test lamp from switch connector cavity A to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 640 (ORN) between the power lumbar seat switch and connector C212, terminal A or C219, terminal D.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

Go to Step 7

Test for resistance between terminal A and terminal B of the lumbar seat switch.

Is the resistance greater than the specified value?

0  ohms

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 9

Replace the power lumbar seat switch.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the power lumbar motor.

Is the repair complete?
