Three reversible motors operate the power seats. These motors perform the following functions:
• | One motor raises or lowers the front of the seat. |
• | One motor raises or lowers the rear of the seat. |
• | The third motor moves the seat forward or backward. |
When you move the front tilt switch UP, the switch provides voltage to the front tilt motor through CKT 287 (DK BLU). The front tilt switch grounds the motor to ground G202 and then raises the front of the seat.
When you move the front tilt switch to the DOWN position, this reverses the polarity and then lowers the front of the seat.
The rear tilt switch operates the rear tilt motor. This switch operates much like the front tilt switch.
When you move the forward/rearward UP and DOWN switch up and down, this operates the front rear tilt motors at the same time.
When you move the forward/rearward UP and DOWN switch forward or backward, this operates the forward/rearward motor and then the seat moves forward or backward.
