Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 101282  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts that secure the concentric slave cylinder to the clutch housing shaft.

  4. Object Number: 101287  Size: SH
  5. Remove the slave cylinder from the transmission input shaft.

  6. Object Number: 101291  Size: SH
  7. Remove the bearing from the slave cylinder.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 101291  Size: SH
  1. Install the bearing to the slave cylinder.

  2. Object Number: 101287  Size: SH
  3. Install the slave cylinder to the transmission input shaft. Ensure that the bleed screw and the coupling are positioned with the transmission ports.

  4. Object Number: 101282  Size: SH
  5. Install the two bolts that secure the concentric slave cylinder to the clutch housing shaft.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 8 N·m(71 lb in).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
