EFFECTIVE MAY 6, 1996, DELCO BEGAN SHIPPING TO ASSEMBLY PLANTS, REVISED RADIOS WITH AN INTEGRAL COOLING FAN. SOME CUSTOMERS MAY ASK ABOUT THE SLIGHT SOUND CREATED WHEN THE FAN IS OPERATING. THE PURPOSE OF THE FAN IS TO MAINTAIN AN OPTIMAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE IN THE UNIT ONLY WHILE THE CASSETTE OR COMPACT DISC PLAYER IS OPERATING. BECAUSE THE FAN RUNS ONLY WHEN A CASSETTE OR COMPACT DISC IS BEING PLAYED, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT CASSETTE OR COMPACT DISC BE REMOVED WHEN NOT IN USE.
