Endgate Handle Replacement Pickup

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 366584  Size: SH
  1. Loosen the handle bolts.

  2. Object Number: 366585  Size: SH
  3. Remove the handle bezel by prying gently on the upper snap-in-tabs.

  4. Object Number: 347054  Size: SH
  5. Disengage the linkage rods (1).
  6. Remove the handle bolts.
  7. Remove the handle assembly from the endgate.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the handle assembly on the endgate.

  2. Object Number: 366584  Size: SH
  3. Install the handle bolts loosely.

  4. Object Number: 347054  Size: SH
  5. Engage the linkage rods (1).

  6. Object Number: 366585  Size: SH
  7. Install the handle bezel.
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  9. Tighten the handle bolts.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

Endgate Handle Replacement Utilities

Removal Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove actuator cable assembly from handle.
  4. Remove the nuts from the back of the endgate behind the handle assembly.

  5. Object Number: 570288  Size: SH
  6. Remove the handle assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 570288  Size: SH
  1. Install the handle assembly into the endgate.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the nuts onto the handle assembly from the back of the endgate.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the actuator cable assembly to the handle.
  6. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
