When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
Full size utilities built at Janesville, WI (Plant J in the 11 digit of VIN) are suspect to water leaking from the center roof console caused by a mis-adjusted sunroof glass. Sunroof sits too low in the back, lower than the roof line. The water enters at a D-shaped cutout in the sheet metal and will carry along the wire harness, located on the right side of the sunroof, to the center roof console.
Adjust sunroof glass, flush in the front and sides (to the roof) and back edge 2 to 3 mm (0.08 to 0.12 in) higher than the roof line.
