Full-Size Truck and Utility CD Radio Questionnaire.

The following information was sent out via GM Messenger on February, 11 2005.

As you know General Motors has been working to become the Highest Quality Manufacturer of Motor Vehicles.

We are requesting your help in trying to understand the cause of Customer complaints on Radios with CD players. We get a lot of CD Radios returned, some of which we cannot determine the cause of the Customer complaint. The documentation returned with these radios sometimes is not sufficient to try and categorize customer complaints.

This is where we can use your help. For the next three weeks when a customer comes in with a CD Radio complaint, would you please have your Service Writers ask the customer some very specific questions about their radio problem? We have attached a questionnaire for them to use. Then if you would FAX the questionnaire to the PQC at 1-866-207-3109, we can make a PQC case on each and everyone. It would be appreciated. Your continued cooperation with these types of programs is helping all us achieve our goal of being the Highest Quality Manufacturer of Vehicles.

Note: This form only applies to a radio equipped with a CD Player or CD Changer which are the following RPO's: UC6, UBO, UB1

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
