Removal Procedure

J 5239 Connecting Rod Guide Set

  1. Remove the engine. Refer to Engine Replacement .
  2. Remove the connecting rod. Refer to Piston, Connecting Rod, and Bearing Removal .

Installation Procedure
    • J 8037 Piston Ring Compressor
    • J 5239 Connecting Rod Bolt Guide Set
  1. Install the connecting rod. Refer to Piston, Connecting Rod, and Bearing Installation .
  2. Install the engine. Refer to Engine Replacement .
