Has the RAP System Check been performed?

Go to Step 2

Go to Retained Accessory Power (RAP) System Check

  1. Disconnect connector C2 at body control module.
  2. Connect a J 35616-200 test lamp between connector C2 cavity F and ground.

Does test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

  1. Connect connector C2.
  2. Close all vehicle doors.
  3. Turn ignition switch to ON position and then to OFF.
  4. Connect a test lamp between connector C304 cavity B9 and ground.

Does test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Locate and repair open in CKT 75 (DK BLU) between connector C304 and IP fuse block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Retained Accessory Power (RAP) System Check

Locate and repair open in CKT 342 (RED) between body control module and underhood fuse block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Retained Accessory Power (RAP) System Check

  1. Disconnect connector C2 at body control module.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM connector C2 and connector C304 cavity B9.

Does test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Locate and repair open in CKT 75 (DK BLU) between connector C2 and connector C304. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

--

Replace the body control module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.
