Front Seat Adjuster Replacement Manual
Removal Procedure
- Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to
Front Seat Replacement - Bucket
.
- Remove the nuts retaining the seat adjuster to the seat riser (6).
- Remove the front seat and the seat adjuster from the seat riser (20).
- Remove the bolts retaining the seat adjuster to the seat.
- Remove the seat adjuster from the seat.
Installation Procedure
- Install the seat adjuster to the seat.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the bolts
(5) in order to retain the seat adjuster to the seat.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to retain the seat adjuster to the seat to 25 N·m
(18 lb ft).
- Install the front seat and the seat adjuster to the seat riser (20).
- Install the nuts to retain the seat adjuster to the seat riser.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts to retain the seat adjuster to the seat riser to 45 N·m
(33 lb ft).
- Install the seat from the vehicle. Refer to
Front Seat Replacement - Bucket
.
Front Seat Adjuster Replacement Power
Removal Procedure
- Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to
Front Seat Replacement - Bucket
.
- Remove the screws retaining the power seat adjuster switch (13) to the
seat cushion.
- Remove the power seat adjuster switch from the seat cushion.
- Remove the electrical connector (21) from the power seat adjuster
switch.
- Remove the power seat adjuster switch from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the power seat adjuster switch (13) to the vehicle.
- Install the electrical connector (21) to the power seat adjuster
switch.
- Install the power seat adjuster switch to the seat cushion.
- Install the screws to retain the power seat adjuster switch to
the seat cushion.
- Install the seat from the vehicle. Refer to
Front Seat Replacement - Bucket
.
Front Seat Adjuster Replacement Split Bench
Removal Procedure
- Remove the seat from the vehicle. Refer to
Split Bench Seat Replacement
.
- Remove the nuts retaining the seat adjuster to the seat riser (6).
- Remove the front seat and the seat adjuster from the seat riser
(6).
- Remove the bolts retaining the seat adjuster to the seat.
- Remove the seat adjuster from the seat.

- Install the seat adjuster to the seat.

- Remove the front seat and the seat adjuster from the seat riser.
- Remove the bolts retaining the seat adjuster to the seat.
- Remove the seat adjuster from the seat.
Installation Procedure
- Install the seat adjuster to the seat.

- Install the front seat and the seat adjuster to the seat riser (5,11).
- Install the nuts in order to retain the seat adjuster to the seat
riser.
Tighten
Tighten the nuts in order to retain the seat adjuster to the seat riser
to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).
- Install the seat from the vehicle. Refer to
