The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) sends the EBCM a "State of Health" message via class 2 serial data communications. This message tells the EBCM, among other things, if the PCM has the ability to perform traction control.
The ignition is ON.
The EBCM receives the State of Health message and learns that the PCM has lost the ability to perform traction control.

• | Repair the condition(s) responsible for setting the DTC. |
• | Use a scan tool in order to clear the DTC. |
