Rear Wiper Motor Inoperative after Being Replaced with Part Number 15173034 - keywords connector liftgate wipe

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

The rear wiper may be inoperative after being replaced with part number 15173034. The old wiper motor part number will supersede to this new part number. The cause could be a grounding concern with between the case of the motor and the body.

If after normal diagnostics have been preformed and there is still a concern, install a ground wire between the motor case and the body/door.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
