This bulletin is being revised to add the 2009 model year. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 07-00-89-004A (Section 00 - General Information).
Dealers should be advised that due to certain Special Equipment Options (SEO) available on these police vehicles, other components have been intentionally disabled. DO NOT enable these components as it causes confusion when the vehicles are delivered to the police.
The following table provides details of each specific SEO. These features are normal for police vehicles.

6B2 | Impala/Tahoe | Rear door handles inoperative The handle rods have been disconnected so the doors can only be opened from outside the vehicle. |
6N6 | Impala/Tahoe | Rear door locks inoperative The lock rods and switches have been disconnected. |
6N5 | Impala/Tahoe | Rear window switches inoperative The rear door switches have been disconnected and the rear power windows operate ONLY from the driver position. |
WX7 | Impala Only | Auxiliary speaker wiring to front door speakers. The front door speakers have been disconnected from the radio. |
