The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Starting November 16, 2007 The following parts will be on parts restriction through the GM Technical Assistance Center:

The Electronic Brake Control Module (P/N 25909777) and the Brake Pressure Module Valve Assembly (P/N 15879113) for the Hybrid vehicles is also on restriction but must be ordered through the PQC after filling out a special questionnaire. (Please refer to latest version of PIT4383 for special instructions on ordering the Brake Control Module or Brake Pressure Module Valve Assembly).

Recommendation/Instructions:

If SI service diagnostics leads to replacing one of the parts listed above (Items 1-8), please contact the Technical Assistance Center @ 1-877-446-8227 and select the appropriate hybrid group prior to replacement.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
