Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement.
1	Liftgate Handle Nut (Qty: 4) Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 9 N·m (80 lb in)
2	Liftgate Handle Assembly Tip Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten
