Camber is the tilt of the wheels from the vertical. The camber is viewed from the front of the vehicle.

The wheels can tilt either outward or inward at the top:

    • When the wheels tilt outward at the top, the camber is positive (+).
    • When the wheels tilt inward, the camber is negative (-).

The camber angle (1) is the amount of tilt measured in degrees from the vertical.

The camber influences both directional control and tire wear. Refer to Wheel Alignment Specifications in this section for camber specifications.
