The condition of an automatic transmission not operating properly may be influenced by one or a combination of the following items:

•	The fluid level is high or low. Refer to Automatic Transmission Fluid and Filter Replacement .

•	The engine performance.

•	The TV Cable adjustment. Refer to Automatic Transmission Throttle Valve Cable Adjustment in this section.

•	The shift select cable adjustment.
