The transmission identification plate (1) , which contains the serial number, is located on the left side of the transmission case, just above the oil pan.

Additional transmission identification information can be found on the service parts identification label. This label contains information on Regular Production Options (RPO) as well as standard and mandatory options. This label is affixed to the spare tire cover of each vehicle at the assembly plant.
