Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear 4 Door
Removal Procedure
- Pull the rear seat pull
straps (1 and 2) and raise the rear seat cushions (3 and 4)
in order to gain access to the rear seat center belt and buckle bolts.
- Remove the
following components from the floor pan (5):

Installation Procedure
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the rear
seat center buckle (1) to the floor pan (5). Secure the buckle
with the anchor bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the rear seat center buckle anchor bolt to 35 N·m
(25 lb ft).
- Install the rear seat center belt (4) to the floor pan (5).
Secure the center belt with the mounting bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the rear seat belt mounting bolt to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).
- Lower the rear seat cushions (3 and 4).
