Shoulder Belt Guide Bracket Replacement Rear Seat

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 488404  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat belt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement .
  2. Remove the following components from the rear seat shoulder guide bracket (3):
  3. 2.1. The plastic retainer (2)
    2.2. The rear seat shoulder belt guide bracket cover (1)

  4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
  5. 3.1. The 4 bolts (2)
    3.2. The rear seat shoulder belt guide bracket (1)

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 487747  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide bracket (1) to the vehicle. Secure the bracket with the 4 bolts (2).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat shoulder belt guide bracket bolts to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide bracket cover (1) to the rear seat shoulder guide bracket (3). Secure the bracket cover with the plastic retainer (2).
  4. Install the rear seat belt. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement .
