Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 1999 🢒 Tracker - 2WD 🢒 Restraints 🢒 SIR 🢒 Enabling the SIR System

  1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
  2. Install the yellow 2-way connector and install the CPA to the inflatable restraint IP module pigtail (1).

    3. Object Number: 157009 Size: SH
  3. Close the IP compartment.
  4. Install the yellow 2-way connector (1) and install the CPA (2) for the inflatable restraint steering wheel module and the steering wheel side cap.
  5. Install the IP steering column opening trim plate. Refer to IP Trim Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  6. Install the AIR BAG fuse (3) to the inline fuse holder.
  7. Staying well away from both air bags, turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Verify that the AIR BAG warning indicator flashes seven times and then stays OFF. If the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described, refer to SIR Diagnostic System Check .
