  1. With the LF door open, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch.
  2. With the seat belt unbuckled, turn ON the ignition.
  3. With the LF door open, remove the key from the ignition and place the headlamp switch in the PARK position.

Did all of the chimes operate normally?

Is the remainder of the instrument cluster operating normally?

Test the ground circuit at terminal 10 of instrument cluster connector C2 for an open.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Test the ignition positive voltage circuit at terminal 14 of C1 for an open.

Repair/replace the instrument cluster printed circuit. Refer to Flat Wire Repairs in Wiring Systems or Printed Instrument Cluster Circuit Replacement .
