Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the 4 front seat adjuster finish covers (1, 3) by sliding from the seat adjusters.
  2. Disconnect the front seat belt buckle electrical connector (2), if equipped.
  3. Remove the 4 anchor bolts which secure the front seat to the floor pan.
  4. Position the seat back cushion forward in order to ease in the removal of the seat from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the front seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the front seat to the vehicle. Position the seat back cushion back to the upright position. Secure the seat with the 4 anchor bolts.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat anchor bolts to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

  3. Connect the front seat belt buckle electrical connector (2), if equipped.
  4. Install the 4 front seat adjuster finish covers (1, 3) to the seat adjusters.
