Adjustment Procedure

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Loosen the TP sensor fasteners
  3. Ensure that the throttle valve is closed completely.

  4. Object Number: 674307 Size: SH
  5. Observe the TP sensor parameter on the scan tool.
  6. Rotate the TP sensor until the scan indicates that the sensor voltage is within 0.35-0.65 volts.
  7. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Tighten the TP sensor fasteners while keeping the TP sensor voltage within 0.35-0.65 volts.
  9. Tighten
Tighten both fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  10. Connect the IAC bypass hose to the throttle body.
