Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 212409 Size: SH
  1. Remove the following components. Refer to Brake Pads Replacement .
    2. • The caliper bolts
    • The pad insulators (1)
    • The brake pad retainers (4)
  2. Remove the slide pins from the caliper bracket (5).
  3. Remove the boots from the caliper bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 212409 Size: SH

    Important: Verify the boots fit into the grooves securely.

  1. Install the boots to the caliper bracket (5).

    2. Object Number: 470321 Size: SH
  2. Apply disc brake caliper lubricant to the slide pins.
  3. Install the slide pins to the caliper bracket.
  4. Install the following components. Refer to Brake Pads Replacement .
    5. • The caliper bolts
    • The pad insulators
    • The brake pad retainers
