Check for any obstruction in the movement of the clutch pedal.

Was there any obstruction found?

Go to Step 2

Remove the obstruction.

Does the clutch work properly?

System OK

Go to Step 3

Check the clutch pedal mechanism. Refer to Clutch Pedal Replacement .

Does the clutch work properly?

System OK

Check for air in the hydraulic clutch system.

Is there air in the hydraulic clutch system?

Go to Step 5

Bleed the hydraulic clutch system. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding .

Does the clutch work properly?

System OK

Check the master cylinder for worn seals.

Are the seals worn?

Go to Step 7

Replace the necessary components. Refer to Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement .

Does the clutch work properly?

System OK

Check for a worn or damaged actuator cylinder.

Is the actuator cylinder worn or damaged?

Replace the actuator cylinder. Refer to Clutch Actuator Cylinder Replacement .

Does the clutch work properly?

Inspect the clutch assembly for the following:

    • Damaged or worn clutch pressure plate
    • Binding clutch disc

Are the clutch components OK?
