For 1990-2009 cars only
- Disconnect the temperature control cable (1) from the clip and door at the heater case.
- Set the temperature lever to the coldest position.
- At the heater case, hold the door lever fully towards the rear end of the vehicle and install the cable to the clip.
- Inspect the temperature lever for smooth operation.
- Ensure that the temperature lever stops at the correct positions.
